In Zagreb, on the 21st June 2018, Auka hosted a panel discussion on the future of mobile payments in the region. This was held in association with the Norwegian Ambassador to Croatia, Astrid Versto. Click here to watch some of the highlights of this discussion.

Well known entrepreneur, journalist and investor, Ivo Spigel, gave an opening address about where Croatia sits when it comes to technology compared to its peers in the rest of the EU. He spoke about how Croatians were extremely connected and that smartphone penetration is high throughout the country.

This address set the scene for discussion from panellists, who included:

Dalibor Kurtovic, Group Transaction Banking Director and Executive Director Operations at Addiko Bank, Izet Ždralović, Co-Founder and Board Member at Microblink, Nikola Kapraljević, COO of Infinum and our CEO and founder, Daniel Döderlein. The panel was moderated by Auka’s head of sales, Sara Rasmussen
